Cresian Afterlife

The blue-green grass varied in height and seemed to grow everywhere even in the 'shade' of trees that reached 6-10 stories off the ground. There was a slight breeze that stirred the needles and leaves of the various trees. Unseen birds sung various songs and they joyfully frolicked  among the leaves. Once out in the open the sky was beautiful expanse of stars against colorful nebulae and black space. A moon hung in the sky, its gray body streaked with white and blue in an oddly memorizing pattern. There was no sun you could see, which explained by the shadows were so odd. As you walk your eyes come to rest on a silver lake, not clear, or blue, but silver, it surface seeming to swirl, yet be still, reflect, yet be pure. It was, in a word, amazing. Even Cresa, a world of unparalleled beauty in the cosmos couldn't match it.

You hear voices and turn with a smile and tears in your eyes as you are greeted by your lover, your parents, and long-lost friends who had passed before you. A tight embrace, a warm kiss, laughter. It was now perfect.

You have now joined the stars.
